4- Brushing Modes

Therefore, you can tone it down a bit in case you have sensitive teeth, or really crank up the power for a super deep and thorough brushing.

Brush Head Replacement Technology

When it comes to the brush heads, the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Power Toothbrush is really special, because brush heads break down and wear out over time. However, this particular toothbrush comes with a monitor which keeps track of the efficiency of the brush head and how it is performing. Once the brush head has been worn down to a certain point, and is not performing as it should, the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Power Toothbrush will let you know when it is time for a replacement, something which is not available on other models. On that same note, although the replacement brush heads are not cheap, they are at least very easy to get a hold of.

Battery Life

Something else we appreciate is that the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Power Toothbrush has pretty good battery life, and it comes with the charger included. In fact, the charger looks like a normal drinking glass. Simply place the brush inside the glass, and it will automatically charge, plus the glass doubles as a normal rinsing glass as well. A single full charge, will last for about 2 weeks of brushing, which is nothing short of impressive. Although, on the other hand, it does take at least 12 hours for it to charge, which is quite a while. That said, the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Power Toothbrush is designed to always sit in the charger, so after the first full charge, charging time really should not be much of an issue at all.

Travel Case

Yet another benefit, although a small one, is the fact that the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Power Toothbrush also comes with a handy little travel case to keep the whole unit clean and in one piece while you travel. It’s a good addition in case you are somebody who is on the move a lot.

Bluetooth Technology

The next really cool feature of the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Power Toothbrush is the fact that it is Bluetooth compatible with most modern smartphones. The reason for this is so you can connect to the Sonicare brushing app. Once connected, the app automatically tracks your brushing progress and data, so you can get a detailed visual picture of how you are brushing, how long you are brushing, and the effectiveness of your brushing too. 

Durability

The other aspect about the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Power Toothbrush worth noting is that it is very durable. You should be able to drop it without fear of causing too much damage, although it’s obviously not recommended that you try. On that same note, it is 100% waterproof, so you can easily get it wet and wash the handle without fear of damaging it. Speaking of the handle itself, it’s pretty comfortable to hold and it does have good grip, so it won’t slip around and is fairly easy to hold on to.
