How Do Toothpaste Tablets Work?

Unlike normal toothpaste, that we are used to coming in a plastic tube. Where we fight with our loved ones, to put the lid back on the tube of toothpaste or where we have to teach them to squeeze from the bottom to ensure we get every last drop of toothpaste.

Toothpaste tablets come in a glass jar and are individually sized for a single use. There is no more accidentally using too much toothpaste, because it is packaged to be just the perfect amount for a single brushing session.

They are small little tablets, that look somewhat similar to aspirin. What makes them so great as well, as that they actually work without water. Simply, put one in your mouth and bite into it. As you bite it, it will start to foam up like normal toothpaste and you will be able to brush your teeth as normal.

How Do You Use Toothpaste Tablets

As mentioned before they are pretty simple to use, you don't even need water and there is no messing with a messy paste. They are small clean use to use tablets. All you have to do is put one in your mouth and bite it.

After you bite the tablet it will start to do it's magic and it will foam up in your mouth, just like normal toothpaste. They are so easy to use, actually they are probably even easier and less messy to use than normal toothpaste, which makes it great if you have messy kids.

There is no messy toothpaste on the bathroom counters, and since it foams in your mouth it actually helps to keep you bathroom sinks cleaner as well. Because you will be spitting out pure foam and not wasted toothpaste that fails to foam up in your mouth.

Follow Up Care

Just like with any dental care routine, you still want to brush your teeth twice a day. Just because you are switching from toothpaste to toothpaste tablets, shouldn't change your brushing or dental care routine.

You still need to floss daily and be sure to visit your dentist. Toothpaste tablets shouldn't change your dental routine, it's just a great way to help save the environment while you continue to have healthy happy white teeth.

Pros and Cons of Toothpaste Tablets

  • More Expensive-  Since they are still relatively new they are slightly more expensive than normal toothpaste. Saving the planet does come at a small cost.
  • Convince- Also since they are new, you can't just pick them up at your local grocery store. You have to order them online

What to Look For When Buying Toothpaste Tablets

It is still important to think about your dental needs when buying tablets as well as thinking about the environment. Not all tablets are going to come in glass or recycled containers, so if this is one of the main reasons why you are making the switch you want to ensure that you find a container that is going to help save the planet.

Another thing to consider when buying them is taste. Unlike traditional toothpaste, toothpaste tablets come in all sorts of different flavors, which can help to make brushing fun again.

How Much Do Toothpaste Tablets Cost

Toothpaste tablets aren't that much more expensive than toothpaste. You can normally buy a jar with 30 - 100 tablets for around $10 - $15 dollars. It just all depends on what brand you decide to go with and how environmentally friendly the company is.

Toothpaste tablets are great for cutting out extra chemicals as well that might be added to your toothpaste. You will not only be saving the environment, but also your health.

Whether or not you decide to make the switch to toothpaste tablets is up to you and your preference, but we hope that you found enough information on this site to help you make a more informative decision on what you decide to do.
