This was our favorite pick. It comes in a reusable glass container and you are able to order refills. We found that these were the closet tablets to actually toothpaste. As far as taste went and also fizz and foam that helps to clean our teeth as we brush.
These are great tablets to help you replace your single use of plastic and you will hardly notice the difference as far as brushing goes. They are however, more convenient than traditional toothpaste as they are easier to travel with.
Making them super convenient to put a few in your bag and not have to carry around a whole tube of toothpaste or worry about having a travel sized tube.

All Natural Bite Toothpaste
These are great all natural, vegan and animal cruelty free all natural bite toothpaste. They come in great and different flavors including rosemary and green tea.
We loved this product and found that it had great fizz compared to other toothpaste tablets. The only problem we found with this product is that it did come in a plastic container, although the plastic is recycled.
It is just nice to find bite toothpaste in a glass container, but we did enjoy this product.
Denttabs Toothpaste Tablets
We found these tablets to be great for people with sensitive teeth all while doing your part in saving the environment. The come in a paper bag so they are also sustainable.
They contain all the right ingredients and none of the bad ones. They are free of preservatives and are also dry which again makes them great for having them on the go or for traveling.

Crush & Brush
Crush and Brush toothpaste tablets and great tablets that come in an environmentally friendly glass jar. They are absolutely ZERO waste, which is better than some of the other tablets we reviewed.
However we found that they did not have as much fizz as other tablets on the market. They are also fluoride free, so if you are looking for bite toothpaste that those not contain fluoride than crush and brush might be what you are looking for.
Also we found these to have a stronger charcoal flavor and less of a mint flavor, which shouldn't be a problem for anyone used to brushing with charcoal. But don't expect a nice mint flavor.
How Do Toothpaste Tablets Work?
Unlike normal toothpaste, that we are used to coming in a plastic tube. Where we fight with our loved ones, to put the lid back on the tube of toothpaste or where we have to teach them to squeeze from the bottom to ensure we get every last drop of toothpaste.
Toothpaste tablets come in a glass jar and are individually sized for a single use. There is no more accidentally using too much toothpaste, because it is packaged to be just the perfect amount for a single brushing session.
They are small little tablets, that look somewhat similar to aspirin. What makes them so great as well, as that they actually work without water. Simply, put one in your mouth and bite into it. As you bite it, it will start to foam up like normal toothpaste and you will be able to brush your teeth as normal.
How Do You Use Toothpaste Tablets
As mentioned before they are pretty simple to use, you don't even need water and there is no messing with a messy paste. They are small clean use to use tablets. All you have to do is put one in your mouth and bite it.
After you bite the tablet it will start to do it's magic and it will foam up in your mouth, just like normal toothpaste. They are so easy to use, actually they are probably even easier and less messy to use than normal toothpaste, which makes it great if you have messy kids.
There is no messy toothpaste on the bathroom counters, and since it foams in your mouth it actually helps to keep you bathroom sinks cleaner as well. Because you will be spitting out pure foam and not wasted toothpaste that fails to foam up in your mouth.
Follow Up Care
Just like with any dental care routine, you still want to brush your teeth twice a day. Just because you are switching from toothpaste to toothpaste tablets, shouldn't change your brushing or dental care routine.
You still need to floss daily and be sure to visit your dentist. Toothpaste tablets shouldn't change your dental routine, it's just a great way to help save the environment while you continue to have healthy happy white teeth.
Pros and Cons of Toothpaste Tablets
Let’s go over the pros and cons of toothpaste tablets below:
What to Look For When Buying Toothpaste Tablets
It is still important to think about your dental needs when buying tablets as well as thinking about the environment. Not all tablets are going to come in glass or recycled containers, so if this is one of the main reasons why you are making the switch you want to ensure that you find a container that is going to help save the planet.
Another thing to consider when buying them is taste. Unlike traditional toothpaste, toothpaste tablets come in all sorts of different flavors, which can help to make brushing fun again.
How Much Do Toothpaste Tablets Cost
Toothpaste tablets aren't that much more expensive than toothpaste. You can normally buy a jar with 30 - 100 tablets for around $10 - $15 dollars. It just all depends on what brand you decide to go with and how environmentally friendly the company is.
Toothpaste tablets are great for cutting out extra chemicals as well that might be added to your toothpaste. You will not only be saving the environment, but also your health.
